The Certification Board of Green Tick® Certification Limited is pleased to announce that Australian start-up CarryMate has been awarded an Interim Green Tick® Sustainable Certification for its innovative beverage holder Product Deck. The Product Deck is reusable and made out of recyclable materials. It was launched for the first time on 19 August 2023 at the NRL game in the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Green Tick® Certification has a special process for certification of start-up companies that have been in operation for less than 12 months. In such cases, an interim certification can be awarded where sufficient evidence is provided by the start-up company that its products or services will comply with key certification criteria, pending a full surveillance audit 12 months following interim certification. Successful validation progresses the interim certification status into full certification for a period of three years, after which a full audit reoccurs to maintain Green Tick® Certification.
