Green Tick® Scientific Papers Accepted for EU Sustainability Conferences - October 2005  
 

Green Tick® has been advised that both papers submitted by its Principal Scientist, Susan Harris, have been accepted for this year’s key international conferences on sustainability in the European Union.

The first paper, “Green Tick® Sustainability Certification of Goods and Services”, describing the Green Tick® system, has been accepted for the 10th European Roundtable on Sustainable Production and Consumption to be held in Antwerp, Belgium, from 5-7 October, 2005.

The second paper, “Does Sustainability Sell?”,  reporting on market responses to Green Tick® Certification, has been accepted for the International Sustainability Conference to be held at the University of Basel, Switzerland, from 13-15 October, 2005.

Mrs Harris said that she was delighted, and a bit overwhelmed, that both papers had been accepted. 

“This demonstrates that there is serious international interest in sustainability certification”, she said, “and provides us with the opportunity to have our research reviewed by the world’s leading sustainability scientists.  It also represents a tremendous marketing opportunity for Green Tick®-certified products.”
